What should I prioritize doing as a newer player?

I feel like ive kinda just been doing quests as they come, idk if I should grind for certain weapons or armor

IMO Campaign quests first (they sometimes hide exotics in there), then focus on getting decent armor and unlocking Aspects & Fragments of the subclasses from Ikora, then target farm weapons.

Once you feel comfortable enough to do more end-game content, that's when you go really deep on finding best exotic armor + weapons

Focus on story quests first, afterwards work on gathering meta weapons (if you care about using the best stuff that is), then start getting into raids and dungeons

Some of the best weapons are in raids so it would be to find good alternatives

If anyone tells you to get Riptide, ignore them and get scatter signal instead 🙏
