what does reacquirering an exotic do?

There is a menu where you can reacquire an exotic what does that do and when do I use it?

You reacquire exotics in collections. Its where you go to get an exotic if you deleted an exotic you’ve already earned.

They have really bad stats but they’re good if you have a build you NEED to make or for testing different exotics without investing in getting one

Tldr you get an exotic back that you’ve already earned only it has bad stats. Good for testing builds and last minute loadout changes.

I would not recommend buying exotic gear again. it's the absolute worst stats

there is no probably, what you get from collection's will 46-52stat rolls. what you see as preview is what stat you will get

hence if you get even a decent stat roll on an armor even if you don't use it, keep it never know what buffs will happen that will make it meta

So how do I optain a better stat exotic since my assasins cowl has a base role of 48 :d

If your light level is high enough wait until the legendary lost sector is dropping helmets and just grind for a while

• Legend Lost Sector (when its awarding Helmets)
• Exotic focusing at the Cryptarch (uses Exotic Engrams and 2 Ascendant Shards so not really worth imo)

also vex incursion zones but those prioritize exotics you havent gotten yet so dont do those if youre still missing on exotics (armor)
