I really want it because it looks cool but I can't get anyone to help me do the challenges to get it

It's a fun weapon and a sort "Swiss army knife" as bungie likes to put it but you can accomplish what vex does without having to use your exotic slot or a primary in general
In most content (so like anything below masters difficultly that isn't speedrunning)
It will work fine
And do all the things you need it to
But in any optimized content where you need to be faster or more careful ur better off running more specialized options
Or options that simply do the job of vex better
