you're not getting it. some armors do use shaders that are acquirable in the game.
and those are what i mean by default shaders
same goes with weapons. for example, the Season of the Plunder weapons use the shader "Dusted Tome" by default

I understand what your saying but to my knowledge no one has ever cataloged which armors have what shaders by default. You could possibly check Light GG or Braytech

I think it's just too rare that gear has a pre-coloured shader on it, so the effort wouldn't be worth it
asking directly what shader a gear piece has is more likely to get you your answer

I think the only place it rlly matters though is in raids
Like I got the "default" shader for DSC Armour
Cause it looks the exact same when I use the shader
