I'm new at this and I want those exotics that are locked behind them for collection and fun.

The raid Crota's End

#

is the newest raid. Its final boss is Crota (obviously) and a wizzard boss (1 encounter before) is called Ir Yut. those 2 are quick to kill if you set up properly with your team

1-phasing something means you only do mechanics once until you get to a damage phase, and then kill the said boss during that phase.

it prevents you from doing an entire mechanics phase again

problem with raids is that the setup/mechanics phase is long (like 2min roughly guessed) while damage is 30-45s at max

#

so having to repeat the entire cycle again is a big waste of time

So it's probably best if I go with people who know what they are doing it then, getting those spoils sounds complicated to someone who never looked in that way.
