My armor exotic is Assassin's Cowl for survivability.

However, I'm open to other suggestions as far as an armor exotic goes.

I've specced my slots for grenade, with the aim being, the more suspend kills i get, the more orbs I create

The question: What would you suggest for an energy weapon on this build? I've been testing glaives, but I'm about to give up on them.

Their utility is nice, but in the middle of a fight, im either going sword or bow, and never the glaive.

If you guys also have advice for a hunter armor exotic that synergizes with grenade spam, I'd appreciate that.

A good slug or fusion might work. Although you’ll have to use a different heavy such as apex for raids and stuff

im kinda hoping bungie uploads the sword rework sometime soon so that swords can be broadly viable, but i see your point.

You misunderstood. They mentioned at one point reworking swords so that they can contribute even in raid circumstances where they otherwise couldnt

Splice from scatter will lower your opponents damage against you
