kf has 3 good guns, so I'd say 100% it's worth it

machine gun and fusion are outclassed by other guns

There is diffrence between harder content and endgame by harder I meant stuff like nighfalls (not gms) legendary campaign mission dungeons and raids

Yes imo. Rapid fire with rapid hit, kinetic tremors. Have alloy mag on it and it reloads insanely fast when empty.

Oh, but that's just a glorified auto rifle with less damage

Last season it had overload I think. Did so well in S.A.B.E.R. Kinetic tremors proc overload so you shoot one and the other two overloads would get stunned
