i havent played destiny in a few months because i took a break, and it is taking absurdly long to get past the loading screen. any help would be nice. thanks

ignore the fool talking about your pc or your setup they are just clueless. the game was designed for the loading architecture of older consoles and likely isnt properly multithreaded,

and on top of that it uses a hybrid peer to peer architecture so load times are handicapped by the people you are loading into and THEIR internet stability. basically you cant make it any better.

in fact the entirety of destiny 2 barely uses your cpu as it is overly reliant on the main thread

so it scales horribly on better machines

considering youre forced to load into something every ~15 minutes or so it adds up
