i feel like peregrine is better if going for a melee build cause your melee is literally refunded and a 1000% buff to champions for doing nth at all

ive been running peregrine and ill i have to do is stun, run up, jump and one shot the champion and still retain my melee charge

ive never failed to one shot a champion once i activated the peregrine strike

if going for a high damage melee build i just dont see the reason to go for wormgod and having to maintain the buff w melee kills when i can just run peregrine and get 1000% bonus no matter what

and still retain the charge

so someone enlighten me please🙏

Wormgod has a more restrictive activation, lasts for a short time and the buff it gives is only slightly noticeable in higher end content.

If Wormgod received a huge rework (like Peregrine) for current content, I'd consider using it.

But as it stands your right, Peregrine is just the better option.

My problem with current D2 is the fact that not everything is rebalanced or reworked for current content

so many weapons and exotics from previous seasons and or expansions just become useless once the new one takes over.

i wouldnt compare wormgod's and pergies tho. they have somewhat different uses. you can kill champs with wormgods but worms are more for bosses and stuff

wormgods is more like synthos than pergies

#

you use wormgods the same way that you use synthos which isnt the same as pergs

you can use em with any melee and really in any situation

#

Peregrine for killing champs and tormentors (and nezarac) wormgods for everything else
