Beware the last time a friend did this on steam he had to repurchase all the dlc, they don't seem to carry over but your loot does

cross save only brings your account and characters

#

you have to rebuy all expansions, dungeon keys and seasons are account based so you dont have to rebuy those if already bought

There is a current season that's very good for 1200 silver. It's extra long so plenty of chances for bright engram farming

#

For dlc look at the exotics, subclass, dungeons and raids included to see if that's something you will continue to play after doing it once
