The power levels, progression and loot is just co fusing to me, I am a noob someone please give me a hand

There are 3 caps currently

#

1 | 1600-1750 The Soft Cap doing any activity will grant you better gear until this level

#

2 | 1751-1800 The Powerful Cap You'll have to go for activities with rewards that give Powerful and/or Pinnacle rewards

3 | 1801-1810 The Hard Cap You'll now only be able to do activities that award "Pinnacle Rewards" to raise your power level. Gear and Weapons cannot go beyond the Hard Cap (but your overall Power can)

In addition to the above, doing the first Seasonal Mission gets you an "Artifact" right below your Ghost slot

The Artifact changes each season, granting different perks and abilities. It also gives you +1 power every 500k XP
