Tried reinstalling, sfc/scannow, repair, other methods but D2 won't start up on Steam, only thing that's helped so far is (sometimes multiple times, also at each startup) uninstalling and reinstalling battle eye

not playing any other battle eye games, only d2, haven't had issues in years, then that suddenly popped up like a month or two ago, running out of ideas

I'm not sure if it's for your exact issue, but I know people were suggesting to opt out of the steam client beta when others were having trouble launching the game.

just like write an email to steam? cuz when i try over the steam support page for d2 it just leads me to bungie

if ur having issues with steam, u have to contact steam support

its issues with battle eye most likely tho

since reinstalling that solves the issue albeit temporarily

Try going into the d2 files and delete any file related to battleye and then verify files on steam
