Hey everyone! I just joined this Discord server in the hopes that I can be guided in the right direction in regards to unlocking the last 8 achievements I need. Would this be the right place for that?

Base Game Achievements:
Challenge Accepted - Complete 30 challenges
Belly Of The Beast - Complete a Nightfall strike on Master difficulty
The Prestige - Complete a Nightfall strike on Grandmaster difficulty

Forsaken Achievements:
Darkness Falls - Defeat a Forsaken Nightfall Boss
Exotique - Collect 10 Forsaken Exotic weapons or armor

Fashion Statement - Complete a Collections Badge
Wishing for the Best - Complete the "Last Wish" Raid
Seal the Deal - Complete a Triumph Seal

In regards to Exotique, I counted last night and I have 8 currently, so my plan is to complete the Exotic Quest to unlock The Chaperone and then use an exotic cipher

So for most of these, if you follow the "Guardian Rank" objectives, it should kind of guide you along. Stuff like Grandmaster Nightfalls will be out of your reach for now.

Once you get to about guardian rank 5, you can start tackling these. Challenges are seen with little markers on your map and are usually something like "Do 8 bounties" and "powerful gear" is the reward

Master and GM nightfalls require a higher power level, usually in the 1800's or higher for GM's. Tips for it will depend on class and the gear you have, but a super easy build is Warlock with Well of Radiance and some sort of anti-champion exotic and 100 resilience

I last played around the time that The Witch Queen was released but just hopped back in a few days ago. I believe it said I was Guardian Rank 5 or 6 and I'm only ~1640 power level

Would you recommend just completing challenges for now and waiting until next season to grind to max power level before hopping into any Nightfalls?

I have all DLCs prior to Lightfall

I'm open to buying Lightfall if it will help though

It would help, but not by much.

If you don't you can just do strikes or other playlist activities to get your power up to 1750, then you should do challenges

For the Forsaken Nightfall boss, look for when the weekly nightfall is either Warden of Nothing or The Corrupted.

For Exotique, you just gotta grind and make sure to get your ciphers done each week. Make sure to check Xur and get the "fated engram" from him, as it will be an exotic you don't have

Completing a collections bade is a little tricky, that will involve collecting every piece of gear from a location on at least 1 class. Collection badges should be listed in either the "Journey" or "Triumphs" section

Last Wish is a raid and is very mechanically complex towards the end, but it doesn't require very good gear or even any minimum power level. Look in #find-a-sherpa to maybe see people willing to teach it

I also suggest looking up a (recent) guide for it to familiarize yourself. As long as you have a rocket launcher and an OK ad-clear loadout, it should be fine.

Seals are difficult to earn due to the amount of work you have to put into them. You may earn the Conqueror seal while chasing other objectives and if you aren't gilding it, it shouldn't be too hard.

This was very informative, I really appreciate the guidance! I'll grind to power level 1750 like you suggested and work on challenges for now, but then I'll reach out for help on Last Wish

Just want to add, for the collections and triumph seal achievements, these need to be from the forsaken era. I don’t believe these were updated to work with more modern content

So getting all the gear from vault of glass for the collection badge and doing all the triumphs for the seal won’t give it to you.

At least it didn’t during the year of beyond light when I got these done, wasn’t until I got cursebreaker and got all the gear from last wish/dreaming city these unlocked.

I frequently use the website TrueAchievements for tips and tricks and there's mention there that the following collections should work to unlock it but it was posted back in Jan 2022, so could be outdated by now
