I took a longggg break from D2 After lightfall and am just getting back and prepped for the new DLC. What new guns should I be hunting down if any?

Starting off with dps meta

its still rockets, however hothead and blowout are pretty horse now

the only 2 good rockets for dps are apex and cold comfort (i may be missing one)

starfire got nerfed to the ground and is pretty much not usable anymore

sunbracers took over its spot and a new exotic helmet called cenotaph is also meta

what cenotaph does is it reloads your trace rifles (that means you can hold down the trigger with div and never need to reload)

and trace rifles mark majors, making them drop a heavy brick on death (the cenotaph user only gets a special tho)

so nobody needs to run aeons now

titans have gotten a 1 off super for burning maul now if you run pyrogale gauntlets

#

the damage is pretty inconsistent but its really the only viable option you have

#

suspend titan strand is no longer meta because titans got a new aspect for strand called banner of war

#

basically it heals you and gives you more melee damage (there are more things it gives but i forgot since they are kinda irrelevant)

basically this is 10x better then whatever lightning build arc titan had in s19

you run synthos, banner of war

#

and if you have a 1-2 punch shotty, shoot a single shotgun bullet and then use your melee

#

it 1 shots champions and deletes bosses

#

theres also a complicated damage rotation for bosses using navigator and grapple melee

to give you perspective a person can solo 2 phase planets boss with this set up

i used to be a big levis breath hater but now its the best dps if you want to run precision weapons

cataclysmic has fallen off too, briars contempt with surrounded outdpses it

like currently in the game there is no optimal scenario for cataclysmic which is kinda sad

from the new dungeon

most of the weapons are really good, but the main ones are the grenade launcher, the rocket launcher and submachine gunn

#

the new rocket launcher lets you shoot 5 rockets in a row without reloading or anything of the sort

and the grenade launcher is a wave frame kinetic

#

from the new raid the only relevant weapon is the machine gun and the shotgun only if your running monochromatic maestro

#

last wish weapons also got reprised, the rocket launcher is the best rocket launcher in the game right now only because cold comfort is a niche use

the bow is probably the best bow in the game

#

and the hand cannon is also kinda nice

sunshot got a huge buff so its no longer a worse zaoulis bane, im pretty sure its the best energy exotic primary we have rn

voltshot got nerfed beyond belief
