Does the eerie engrams actually drop lost sector exotic armor?

ive opened like 10+ eerie exotic legs engrams and i still havent gotten the star eater scales.

ive heard/seen some saying they only drop if youve already gotten them, so im becomming skeptical

Legend Haunted sector pretty much guarantees one. Normal have a chance for a drop

you get eerie engrams from haunted sectors. you go to eva and focus them

what is so difficult

obviously unlock the exotic first. so farm a legend lost sector or do a vex incusion

because you didn't read what they posted. the article about fotl said the eerie engram focusing could drop exotics you don't have yet.

they opened 10+ for exotic legs and didn't get star eater scales which they don't have

make sure you own beyond light, that is required for it to drop

but what nukyyy said is the way to go, vex incursions for sure work so better to spend your time there if the engrams haven't dropped it yet
