#Best hunter build for nuking majors/minibosses?
1 messages Β· Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Arc with assassin's cowl and a 12 punch shotgun
Worldline sword does a great job
first over the second ππ
liars also good
and prob something good with RDM
Why not, both!?
because worldline is pretty mid
No
Oh, I defo agree. As far as nuking a champion though with burst dmg, it's pretty top tier. Get invisi with assassins cowl, stun champ, wham, bam, and finish able. π
Its a waste of not only a exotic slot but a heavy slot most heavy's can shred and most do better then world
I'm just responding the specific question man. World isn't practical compared to other heavies, esp in a gm environment.
Most other exotics do NOT do better then world as far as burst dmg is concerned.
If you're just pounding away at a dummy, the dmg output is up there. Esp once you put on a surge or two.
There's other factors to consider here, but generally I'd go for a nice RL build.
Leviathans whisper sleeper lament parasite
None of those, possibly parasite with enough setup.
World will bring a gm champ down to finishable range in two heavy swings.
Esp not Levi and lament. Also, you won't even touch the definition of "most" other exotics.
I'm not here to say how awesome world is, just saying a fast way to nuke a major /champ
Yeah can vouch for it being a good burst champion option, and mediocre and subpar at most other things. Messed around with it with stronghold titan after the buffs
Sleeper and whisper are definitely not burst damage options in the same way

You better hide (your right)
Idk maybe - radiant dance machine + marksman dodge + a good rocket launcher
Lucky pants, liars handshake
did i hear whisper π₯ π₯ π₯
best looking and feeling exotic in the game ong frfr π₯ π₯
so true on god frfr someone with amazing tasteπ₯ π₯ π£οΈ βΌοΈ
sound is definetly the best, optics I'm not too sure
No
only use malf with lucky pants
Doesn't it put up similar damage to malf
I know malf has the unstop but idk if that's worth the exotic slot
its worth the exotic slot with lucky pants
Its not
And crimson
no
Okay lmao
Arc Hunter With Combination x3 + Tractor + 1-2 Punch Shotty (Viable even in GM level content)
Malfeasance + Luckypants (if you must maintain distance)
Radiant Dance Machine + 4th Horseman If Not Running Arc
Just dont use lucky pants π
If you're in the like 2 situations where lucky pants will be good malfeasance is the only option anyway
wardens law is actually not bad
probably more useful then malf
Yes
Absolutely not
yes
more useful not better outright
malf has very few situations where using it is actually worthwile over a real dps strat
you cant really run it in a support role
wardens isnt bad as a backup option for a ghally or tractor player
sitting over stuff like doubleslug/pellet on bosses with decetly easy headshots
You also kinda shouldn't
Theres better options but if it's all you got it's fine
its got higher dps then slugswapping
way better then fusions
Huh guess you learn something new everyday
its got like
170k dps its actually devious
surrounded slugs are 150
and non surrounded is like 120
Guess it's still got the downside of having to run lucky pants and having to use hunters which arent always preferred
can you not start by shootint 2x ghally throwing gs
then loadout swap like in rdm
dodge reload ghally
shoot one more unload wardens until ghally expires
Lmao okay dude
Ok
in the case you'd wanna use lucky pants
crimson isnt worth using and malf is better
wardens law is mediocre too
wardens law is compareable dmg to malf so up to you which you pick but those 2 are best with it
Malf has unstop that's prob why it's better
plus it does more damage when a target has witherhoard on it
Wardens law is more useful because it isnt exotic
in certain situations
malf isnt that useful
because you are outclassed by actual damage rotations
and its exotic so you cant use to to suppliment a support role
This is burst dps we are talking about no?
uh ngl i think this topic has drifted from the inital question
best option for nuking champs and stuff is arc punch
dont think anyone uses malf for dps
Maybe best burst damage for powerfuls is Arby for barriers and other shield combatants.
Iβm not sure about unshielded ones tho
its not terrible
objectively its pretty good, its easy
i don't doubt its not terrible
remember being able to do 500k+ with lucky pants and lunas?
It's like the perfect middle ground. Imagine thunderlord ease of use but it's actually alright
yeah
Isn't banner of war better?
Also I think they should add a bit more to lucky pants tbh
I wanna use it more but idk
banner of war is the best thing in the game rn
for hunter, arc hunter has better surviability
banner is in an ok niche for gms and stuff
raids its not super useful
Arc hunter might unironically be the most loaded class with the best survivability in the game
I really thiguht banner of war would be better
its only got healing
and damage boost wich is good, it deals alot of damage and has good champ stun
But I don't get it without assasins cowl I don't see how it's more survivable then like solar warlock or titan
assasins cowl just that busted
It makes you go invis you get a melee damage boost and it refills your dodge and when you dodge all the enemies get blinded near you
And you get healed
Without assasins cowl
doesnt matter without
But yeah I see it with assasins cowl
Doesn't the punch blind enemies and not the dodge?
think both do
Also getting that first melee is kind of tough in low level content
Forgot honestly
I would've imagined that wellock was more survivable tbh
Both are very survivable but arc hunter goes overboard for no reason
