Good fusion rifle for primary slot (PVE solar preferably). Does anyone have suggestions?

I want a good fusion rifle for the primary slot (PVE solar preferably). Also not from Raids or Dungeons. Can anyone recommend one?

On another note do you have any suggestions for a good solar heavy weapon against strong enemies like champions and bosses?

Like a rocket launcher, grenade launcher, linear fusion rifle or a machine gun?

One that does a lot of damage

apex predator from last wish is your best bet for a rocket launcher

cataclysmic from vow is a good solar linear

and machine gun uhh, dunno any good solar machine guns tbh

Honestly you better off going for a Solar primary weapon like Ammit, Calus, or Sunshot and use a Kinetic special like Riptide

I dont think you understand/people haven't explained:

Guns in the kinetic slot have no Element. they can be special and also primary ammo.
energy guns are the ones with element. so solar/arc/void and they can also be special ammo and primary ammo. (middle slot)

if you're looking for stasis/kinetic/strand guns, those are always in the primary slot (so the upper slot)

a primary weapons is something you use primarily (so most of the time) and those are usually using primary ammo, so white one

Riptide with Chill clip and auto loading holster. It fires really fast for a fusion rifle and chill clip also freezes your opponents. Plus you dont have to worry about reloads with ALH.

Also excluding Raid and Trials fusion there are only 4 Kinetic fusions. Just trying to point out that with Solar you have more legendary Primary options and can use a more utility or DPS exotic in Kinetic slot.
