i dont know if it works if you just do it normal, but it definitely works, if you have one of your sword people just come back to bottom side after killing their gatekeeper, instead of depositing the sword

they go across, kill the guy, keep the sword, go back across the bridge and drop the sword on the ground, then proceed as normal

we usually (in a full fireteam) have 5 people enlighten and the 6th just deposits the chalice

juggle the chalice between the last 2 people without getting enlightened until your first guy comes back with their sword

u dont need to drop sword pretty sure u can just have 2 people go across as normal ( chalice + sword ), kill gatekeeper, dunk chalice + sword, sword picks up chalice and runs back across

you play it out as if you dunked chalice across and you had someone die on your side of the bridge, so you go back across and re enlighten essentially

if you dont drop or deposit the sword the next sword bearer wont spawn and neither will the next gatekeeper (from my personal testing)

problem with that is, if you have everyone enlightened on bottom side, the guy with the chalice coming back will die, cuz noone can take it off of them

@pine eagle going back to ur suggestion, we effectively need 4 people on the spawn side in order to activate the plates and juggle the chalice (1 per side plates and 2x in the middle) correct?

yeh it doesnt thats why u dunk the sword as soon as first is killed, the you pick up chalice and go across

you do it as normal, get 4 people enlightened, 1 with chalice, but leave 1 more without a buff on the side

then 1 sword + chalice goes across, kill gatekeeper, dunk chalice + sword, wait for cd, pick up chalice go back across and get enlightened again and pass chalice to last unbuffed person and they go across instantly

actually sorry that doesnt work, you have to do that twice pretty sure and just juggle the chalice with the 2 unbuffed so ( original sword + last unbuffed ), and let a third come back, that way you get the extra sword

nah u can dunk sword you just need to bring chalice across and wait out the timer

that just makes it more complicated, and if you get all 5 across you will get another swordbearer spawning on top side for your last sword

if you go below 4 people it gets more funky, as you will probably need to do the grappeling back and forth with wanderer, but if you have that rotation down it becomes easy, too

yeh im pretty sure it has to be grapple because u wont be able to keep up bridge

you can keep up the bridge, but then the chalice will become a problem, and its just easier to grapple across

how do u keep up bridge after first person crosses tho

you do a trio kingsfall style totem strat, with the 2 peeps bottom alternating between middle plate to keep the bridge up and their totem to not wipe

so left person is on their totem, and right person is on middle, then they swap roles when the right totem gets to angry, and just repeat until its done

but fitting a chalice swap in there will probably just either wipe from totems or collapse the bridge
