why do people not use scanner, don't you need it know where to deposit the cores?

there are only 4 places you can dunk at a time. the best way to do taniks is to drop all 4 cores at once, which then makes it so you are forced to dunk in every spot

there are 6 spots, but taniks blocks the 2 next to him. so only 4 are available at a time
