Is it possible to upgrade to the final shape deluxe edition later on(for the reduced price), If you buy the base game initially ?

You can buy the passes separately once realeased but you won’t get the ghost and emblem etc

Thing is, the dungeon keys are to be purchased separately which basically doubles the price of the season
So upgrading to the deluxe edition is the better option for me.

you can buy the upgrade, atleast the option exists for lightfall, dunno if its the same for final shape, since i just bought the annual pass immediately

Yeah get deluxe if you know youre going to play that whole year. its a 1-time-purchase and you get everything for a full year at the cheapest possible price

even if you just play the final season, you will still be able to access all the previous seasons story stuff
