- reduce your duplicates and **delete. every. sunset. weapon. **
it lowers most vault by a solid 50 slots
- when checking your guns, think about the last time you used it, if it's more than 2 DLC's in the past, delete it
- if a weapon has a craftable competitor that is better, delete the non-craftable one under any circumstance
- if a weapon "could become meta" think about the past: has it ever been meta for a decent time? if yes, then it's unlikely that it will become sovereign meta again (looking at snipers)

i joined since lightfall, if i was experienced since 2 DLC then i would probably already know and deleted sunset weapons

ngl sometimes bungie just removes some useful perks from those weapons and you can't craft it

im saying this while thinking of supremacy. It rolls Rewindrounds + 4th times the char/kinetic tremors.
with that combo it is best in slot AND craftable. so any other rapid fire kinetic sniper you can safely delete because supremacy is just better.
if there happens to be a sniper that beats it, you continue the process
like just try to find whats best in slot (considering weapon frame AND elemental damage) and then delete anything thats worse
