Hard to tell without knowing your build or seeing gameplay, but it's likely down to taking too much time to burn champions or bosses. Make sure you are taking advantage of subclass abilities to stun champs-
-which allows you to run a special weapon for more DPS instead of double primary

The only ones in rotation that are ever worth farming are dreaming city
All the other ones are like a 3 minute minimum, most dreaming city ones can be done sub 1 minute

I've only done K1 Revelation and K1 Communion so far, I think what trips me up the most is when a barrier champion or nightmare add hides behind the boss and is way too dangerous to kill quickly
I feel like amplified regen may not be the most tanky way to efficiently clear lost sectors, but I don't have lightfall and don't have access to Strand so I may need to try out some other builds

Assasins cowl and gyrfalcons do not suck 😡
I beat a master lost sector with assasins cowl very easily using a riptide and lemon
The only thing that ruins me is barrier champs cause I don't have my wishender yet

theres several ways to deal with barriers that arent wish ender

Yeah I understand I just find it hard to run double special with arby cause I don't have much options in my energy slot
But I haven't tried in a while

doesnt need to be arby either if you cant do double special well, theres subclass verbs to break barriers, freeze to prevent it, auto rifles/bows

I used to use freeze but I couldn't get it to go consistently
But now I have gyrfalcons which means infinite Volatile rounds
I stopped doing LLS when I got it tbh
I should still get me some RDMs and STSs
