How to do bridge in crota with just 5man without doing the strand skip?

send a guy over, kill the gatekeeper, dont deposit the sword, just run back with it, drop it and continue as you would 6 man

same strat works with 4 people, you just have to do it a second time with the coming back

technically 3 man works like that, too but it becomes more complicated than that

i dont get it, shouldnt you bank the sword to progress?
because my team had a few problems that we encountered when trying it

we ran 6 man, but simulated it to be a 5 man (1 guy is just ads clearing on the starting side of bridge)
we managed to get 4 swords across and 5 people across

no because you need to get 5 swords and 1 chalice across with 5 people

and 5 gatekeepers need to die

so you kill one gatekeeper and let the sword despawn then go back over

so, you send one guy with sword, kill gatekeeper then go back to starting side, drop sword, let it despawn, so now you still lack one sword to deposit tho?

the correct way is go over with 1 sword, then 1 chalice, deposit, swap chalice to the first person with sword and tell him to go back

nvm cant think straight, do you need all 5 swords dunked or all 5 gatekeepers killed to progress?

guides ive seen all says 5 swords needs to be deposited, and 5 gatekeepers dead

i think this is the correct way, but i guess leave 1 guy on starting side not enlightened yet, so the guy who comes back with chalice can pass it

i think you have to keep swapping to be able to dunk without strand

otherwise you cant go back

you need to kill 5 gatekeepers, that is what progresses the encounter, also, if you do that strat. once everyone is over
