how to farm esscence of oversouls?

complete encounters or complete triumphs. Before you get excited though, the drop rate for essence is dog water. Ive seen people do 20-30 encounters and only get 1 or 2 essences.

I personally got insanely lucky. I got one for my first run through the first encounter and got 3 essences on my next full run. Im stuck at 4 now though. Really frustrating
