Scout rifle is decent on strand hunter/warlock with their ranged melees, lmg is worse commemoration but still decent, pulse rifle looks good but feels terrible to use, and the shotgun is a meme troll weapon

12p buffs the melee not the shotgun

If it could roll trench barrel then yeah you could get a melee kill and then fire off 3 damage boosted shots that would cause explosions which could be fun for room-clearing or chunky enemies like idk totems

Trench is not worth it you just want to fire 1 shot there's not many high handling 1 2 punch shotguns in the energy slot

If your firing a shot anyway would you take a normal one or the one with a free aoe explosion like it's obvious

I’m saying it’s ironic that the origin trait encourages you to use the gun after a melee attack, but it got the shotgun perk that encourages you to melee after shooting the gun

It gets 12P but doesn’t get Trench

And of course it’s just sort of worse than wastelander m5 for a lot of reasons

That’s not how cursed thrall works

It’s chain reaction after a melee kill for a short time

Problem is, you’re not getting direct shotgun kills with a 12p shotgun, you’re getting melee kills

That’s why 12p is great on arc hunter and strand titan, because both of those subclasses like getting melee kills
