cartesian at its release was the best dps substitution. at around vog times
but it's been powercrept like the rest of the game

Cartesian barely gets out dps by eremite I still perfer rapid fire especially cause I tested eremite with envious and controlled burst
And cartesian eith vorpal lead from gold and the difference was like 30-50k difference
So imo rapid fire are better for rotation
