Vesper doesn’t really interact with gunplay that much, so any short-mid range weapon should work. Delicate Tomb comes to mind though

if you’re using vesper i’d imagine you’re doing some endgame content so i’d recommend maybe a glaive to basically be invincible? forbearance if not bothered to use a glaive and trinity ghoul/forb if easy content
