I beat crota after reset today and got the quest but I loaded in to crotas end again to get progress but it didn’t get any kills toward the quest

Do I have to progress further or what

It might be to do with crotas end. During contest they had to disable the ability to level up weapons and other progression mechanics whilst in the raid so the servers could handle it
