I haven't made it to endgame level content yet but I am considering buying lightfall for strand, just asking if it is an actually good subclass or if it's like stasis in most cases

But idk. Void has just as good survivability if you’re smart and arc has the best survivability of all. Killing things fast.

you can always do an grapple reload build
so its damage is better then most non dmg super subclasses
