cataclysmic bait and switch is 35% when activated and gets ammo outta thin air for 4th times the charm taipan theres no free ammo and best dmg buff you get is firing line which is 20%

but cata is just better in every way

if you use enhanced battery you get 2 4th times procs which give you a total of 4 bullets for free literally outta thin air 20 ammo total 12 shots for hitting crits

only time you would ever use taipan/storm chaser is if its arc/void surge in gm content but even then just use rockets lmao linears are monkey meat

Id always take Taipan for the ease of use, Cata, if used properly, does more damage though

id use cataclysmic if i could craft it but taipan you can craft easily so its a good substitute if you cant get a craftable or god roll cata

If you can proc surrounded briars is better then Levi but that's pretty much only good on GotD final boss
