Not a help post per se, this is for speculation about the reprise of Garden of Salvation. New trait combos, what the origin trait will be, whatever, give your thoughts.

My guardian in light VoG is a free raid

They reprised LW because not a lot of people bought the forsaken pack, so now they’re gonna reprise GoS since shadowkeep is rarely bought nowadays

They will reprise vog at some point it’ll just be after they give garden the treatment

The point of this thread is to speculate on the potential rolls bungie could give the GoS weapons if/when they get reprised

I haven’t gone back to garden in eons, but I remember enjoying the encounters quite a bit

It’s not a bad raid by any means, even if the tethers can be a bit jank

But that’s not the question

People will run bad raids if the loot is good, look at RoN for example

gos would be a good raid if people ran it in this server

and actually taught the raid instead of just doing div runs

Problem is only people who do GoS are the farmers and Div runners

Hopefully that’ll change with the refresh

People who do GoS for the experience are GoS farmers, clear farm or not

If you’d be willing I want to re-learn the raid without needing to do a full-on div run

Mind you I have div (got it back during plunder when all the dlcs were free) I just don’t remember crap

GoS seems next in the rotation for reprisal in terms of gear. VoG having Adepts and ever-slightly more modern perk combos helps it stay up just a bit.

GoS gets reprised, everyone and I mean everyone is gonna need to buy shadowkeep

Again, assuming the weapon rolls are actually usable and aren’t just… bad

only things viable from the raid is going to be the bow, the shotty and the Autorifle if they get a good perk reroll

the shotgun only with pvp perks, the autorifle as a Gnawing hunger substitute and the bow for endgame content

we have so many that are better in pve, and they are the worst frame for pvp

Plus omniscient eye will be way easier to get than tumi so it also beats it in that regard

Given it’ll probably be related to precision hits because, yknow, divinity and whatnot, if it’s some kind of “discount _______” perk like the other reprised origin traits

I’m betting rapid hit or precision-based zen moment tbh, and either of those would make an already good sniper that much better
