where does one receive deepsight (red border) weapons for ex-dares of eternity weapons such as Pardon Our Dust or Wastelander? where do they drop?

If you don't get weapon drops from the activity itself, make your way to Xûr's Treasure Hoard and spend any earned keys at the chest next to Xûr. Guaranteed DoE weapons.

Like I said, guaranteed DoE weapons. Those can also drop with Deepsight from the chest if I recall.

just used 7 treasure keys for chest no red border, will run normal DoE

Just keep in mind that it's only a chance for a Deepsight drop. The real value is that the loot pool is only DoE weapons.
That, and it's free loot on top of DoE runs, so that can help with getting the Deepsight drops.

Yeah half my red borders to make those 2 guns craftable were from the chest, so definitely can drop from the weapon chest as a red border

can confirm they drop as red border from chest, thats how i got most of mine, also the 250k point pinnacle is a guaranteed deepsight weapon
