is there anyway to improve stats on an exotic armor other then upgrading or inserting mods?

i got a really good exotic armor from the witch queen camp but it is stats are only 46

is it worth it to use even that i will miss on 22 stat points?

Depends on how badly u want to use it if anything just use it until u get a better roll

U can try to focus an exotic engram with rahool in the tower but with how it’s set up u don’t get to pick the exact one u want it’s randomized

It also eats up a lot of expensive resources

you can do legend lost sectors on the corresponding day and hope for it to drop again with better steps

Id save your exotic engrams for a week that an easy gm is in rotation, focus as many engrams on one exotic as you can and then farm gms and spend more until you run out of engrams

If you have a large amount of materials and all the exotics for a class in a given "expansion year" category, you can directly focus them at Rahool.

That's the only way I know of to directly "upgrade" an exotic. You need an Exotic Cipher each time too.
