The only rewards shown when hovering over lost sectors are enhancement cores. Do I need lightfall for higher difficulties to actually drop anything?

There is only 1 specific lost sector each day that drops exotics
Today is K1 revelation on moon, so go there, do it once and you will unlock the difficulty Flag Infront of the sector.
It will tell you that if you are solo you have a chance for exotic helmet today

I’m fairly sure that’s just a visual bug, but I’ll login to see if I see the same thing and run a couple to see when an exotic drops
Owning lightfall shouldn’t be an issue, especially for a lost sector from a different expansion but weirder things have happened

Well that's nothing. With a 25% drop chance I easily went 20 runs without a drop. Keep in mind your exotic chance drops to near nothing when you dont kill all Champs. You need platinum rewards
