so like you have an ikelos smg that you used a deepsight harmonizer or to make that a red border. you then extracted the red border?

that added to your pattern progress, but you won't be able to make that your crafted version to start adding progress to.

or you upgraded a RoN adept weapon. you can change the minor perks for the barrel and magazine, but you can't change the major perks

if i dont have the pattern i can use the harmonizer but i can only change minor perks?

your harmonizer used on a weapon gives you +1 to whatever your progress is for the pattern. most weapons you need 5 to have the full pattern.

you have used the red borders from 5 of the same weapon, you will be able to craft the weapon. from there,

you can change everything about the weapon whenever you want, assuming you get the weapon to the level where you can select all perks.

most weapons unlock everything perk wise at level 17. there are some stat boosts and cosmetics that can be added and maxed out at level 30.
