Am I griefing playing a non-surge subclass in GMs?

I love solar titan with loreleys tankyness and feel much safer. But I feel bad playing it on non-surge weeks. Can I get away with it by bringing surge weapons? Or do I really just need to swap to the surge.

use whatever u play safest and best with gms is about survivability not surges those are just meant as benefits not what to shape your builld around

Master Raids/Dungeons if you’re running a damage super it’s best if it matches the surge even if that super is usually lower damage

For example, ses gathering storm over ses bb

I disagee as even in master raids + dungeons being comfortable with your build (OP's concern) is way more important than damage

And you can ez clear regardless

True but it matters a decent deal

Hothead becomes strictly better than apex predator under arc burn, same with stormchaser in solar

only after you're comfy with a damage rotation
anyone would rather teammate use an ascendancy or tracking rocket than missing the apex
or loreley over a cuirass that takes forever to get back from the super
