For context, in a recent developer interview they said that they’re fixing the bug that makes double special drop more heavy ammo.

My main wonder is; what’s gonna be meta now? Is it still just as viable, does it now suck complete crap, is it for some weird reason more useful?

wait until it's actually live in-game. this is the 3rd or 4th time they've said they were going to fix it. ability spam builds are so prevalent anyway I doubt we even notice a difference.
