Why would lament suck? It was meta back everyone was soloing duality and there hasn't been any changes to it. I used it and it worked great for my solo run.

Well, not sure I've done it since the orb of power change, but you probably don't have any armor charges for most of that phase.

If you have apex you might be able to do a nice strat where you shoot witherhoard, shoot a couple rockets, reload, shoot 2 or 3 fusion and repeat

2 phase stronghold crown splitaa both bosses with x2 restoration

or well double slug tractor with ophidian aspect, also 1 dexterity mod and 1 targeting mod. 2 phase also

or switch slugs for lightweight shotguns to not worry about hitting crit

I hope that helps, these are the easiest 2-3 phases builds. There are more but i think it's fine to keep it simple

tractor better because of debuff. On the first boss melee adds around then spam grenade on top of the boss on the wall, push boss continuously with tractor to stuck him, dmg with shotgun and or fusion between swaps

tractor double slug was an easy 2p and that was pre-surges, any decent rocket, linear, acrius, etc will cook her - basically just shoot boss with a decent heavy weapon lol

unless you’re aiming for 1p it doesn’t matter too much what you use, 2p can be done with any solid heavy

rockets dps strategies are "better than anything else" most of the time.

I meant that for this scenario some other options are stronger whether it be because of easiness to use, time availability to dps, and the close range dps accessibility

witherhoard, fusion/sniper, cataclysmic. stick with witheroard, shoot second thing, dps with cata, get off almost one mag in one stun

use hammer bonk to clear adds and make orbs for every phase, dont forget to rebonk caiatl for free radiant, should get you to a relatively easy 2-3 phase

Lament is less of a tracking thing and more of an off-level issue (same difference though) . Just gotta position yourself to not be "going down" the steps.

It isn't the most dmg, but it's good consistent dmg and used because of the healing.

Some of the other options I personally think are less efficient cause they require kills for reprocing.

Also, I still stick with the 4-5 light, 1 heavy combo, but to each his own. 🤷‍♂️

i'm trying so hard to get the acrius catalyst but im getting the catalyst for prospector instead

Acrius is good too, but if you're having a hard time surviving then that's where Lament comes into play. It's got good healing capabilities.

I’ve found that acrius is hard to hit precision when caiatl stunned

Acrius does more than lament if you can hit all headshots

But lament does more consistent dmg
