when the armor is high in a stat you want
and you're getting hundreds in stats normally
well
i'd try playing the solstice event for high stat armor
bonfire bash kinda sucks to play and isnt fun but it'll get you better stat rolls ig
im tryna get high mobility, discipline, resilience
do you know what armor would be good for that
run raids and dungeons
specifically master dungeons for artifice
artifice armor adds another slot on the armor piece that gives +3 to any stat you choose
what dlc lol
nope
soooo what should i do then
yea i wanna buy that dlc next
try getting forsaken and shadowkeep first probably honestly
when pit is farmable you can farm the final boss for easy high stat armor
theres so many i cant keep track 😭
sorry its my 2nd day playin
sooo i should grind bonfire bash rn and which dlcs should i get
get forsaken then the witch queen dlc then the dungeon key then shadowkeep
shadowkeep isnt insanely important
witch queen and witch queen key are seperate?
yep
erm what the flip
dont ask why the billion dollar company did that lol
dont ask why every single different planet costs $60 to go to
its free to go anywhere its just 60$ to have fun
playin the bonfire thing no clue whats happenin
ohh i was throwin them in the fire fan thing
so we killed the boss but we only threw 2 things in the fire before that
is that a win or what
what does forsaken give you
google it lol
mb
my teammates were ass not my fault
thats just the forsaken pack plus the key right?
what?
Don’t get dlc for high stat armour you got season pass use the armour focusing on the sonar table for high stat
well i wouldnt get dlc just for it also to play those parts of the game
wym armor focusing on snor table tho
sonar
If you’ve done the seasonal challenge you can focus your deep engrams into armour that more often than not has high spikes
If you’re getting dlc for content I wouldn’t recommend starting with a dungeon key
Maybe an expansion itself not just a dungeon key
you can get more out of a dlc than just high stat armor
i still recommend getting dlc for the story and weapons
for free you can access the proffecy dungeon
that'll still give you higher stat gear than basic content does
where that at
yea fs
alr
are those raids
prophecy is a dungeon
it says its a dungeon in the legends tab so i dont think its a raid
Prophecy is 100% a dungeon, the idea behind dungeons is that they are Mini Raids that can be solo'd if you are skilled at the game
I forget if i threw my two cents in here but i would suggest to you that you get a stat distribution of all 60’s. Dont worry about getting 100’s in any of the stats
This is because if you focus on one category and get 100 in that stat and something changes, you will have to change your entire armor set. So get an even distribution because you’ll never have to grind armor again
I call it future proofing your armor
It sounds like something you would be interested in
agreed
Solstice helped me so much
I was in a similar situation as you
now got double 100s
terrible advice resil is too good rn to not go 100 in pve
forget every other stat idc if like str or int is only 20 as long as u get 100 resil you can do anything
Stats dont matter for it to be that deep, especially since there are so many great things for survivability. Woven mail gives ~60% dr, solar has so many ways to gain restoration, void has overshield whenever you get low
An extra 30- 40 resil isnt gonna make that much of a difference you’ll maybe take 7% more dmg but you can always gain that back from running resist mods
Plus, i’ll never have to farm 20-30-40 hours for a perfect piece of gear and have to re-farm when bungie changes a stat or a new build comes out.
Maybe yall have a hard time living and this doesnt work your you. But i get by just fine and i’ve got the same chestplate since pit dropped
I would also like to point out the fact that if you really wanted to, you can still get 100 resil and still have 60 in all other stats
The main point is that you have all of your stats reasonably high so that any changes to your builds or nerfs that release wont affect the armor that you have
what you waffling about 💀 it's literally so easy to get tier 10 in 2 stats bruh
All you need is >20 in the stat you want. and it's almost like you can get multiple pieces so you can swap armor depending on your need
Yea but im saying its more future proof to have high stats in all categories and maybe have tier 10 in one of them.
Say you get tier 10 in resil, and in discipline and 30’s and 50’s in the other stats. Then bungie comes along and says the dr from resil is too much and nerfs it
Then they go and they nerf your favorite grenade build
Suddenly those two stats that you invested so heavily in are essentially worthless
i mean engram focusing is also a thing tho
That annoys me. So thats why i say, run 100 in one category and the rest keep in high 60’s
You’ll never have to farm another set of armor again
It allows you to set your focus on getting better weapons.
To be fair resil did get a 10% nerf and it still is no1 priority stat for most builds
Remember when intellect was number one for a while and everyone had tier 10 intellect and then bungie nerfed it to the ground because supers were too prevalent and now intellect is a mid stat
Same story for recovery
Somewhat same story for mobility
ur coping so hard it's insane 💀 "if something maybe happens in the far future then maybe the stat becomes worse so maybe you wasted hours farming gear"
you grind guns with the same mindset. get each weapon once, but what if there's better guns in slot
Ur Argument is stupid
not really, i just dont like farming for armor, anything to not have to do it. also its not the far future, they're always nerfing or buffing something. its called game development.
Yeah but farming artifice armor to the point that you can cover all possible stat combos is super easy
So ur entire Argument goes to waste
there is nothing you can say that will make me like mindlessly and endlessly finding groll armor im sure there is something in this game that you would rather lick a cheese grater than play armor farming is that for me
wdym endlessly 😭 it's literally a matter of your armor focusing
I have triple 100 on warlock and farmed for like 3h over the course of multiple sessions
and I can swap discipline with intellect if I need to. some stats will never be meta so there's no point in farming for them
Just telling ppl to settle for 60s when it's super easy to get double/triple 100s is straight bs
im not telling people to settle for 60's im telling people that you you should get a set of armor that doesnt have triple 100's so that you dont have to keep changing armor
and dont have to farm for armor that will be irrelevant in the future
no, you dont get it
.
"I don't recommend 60s"
i tried you know, finding common ground so you could leave but you just have to be combative and judgmental over an opinion
i misspoke there
Just saying that triple 100 is optimal for almost any build
i dont think triple 100 is necessary given how easy the game is. but agree to disagree i guess
soooo i should to solstice? or raids
Solstice if you grind the event you can get a lot of high stat armour
Also it's somewhat focusable
so i dont get it it keeps giving me the solstice stat do i wait until i get one with stats i want then upgrade it with the silver ash
also whats the easiest way to get a glaive bc i need it for a solstice quest
Enigma from crafting quest is pretty easy
And banshee usually sells a glaive too
Solstice Arnour you can reroll stats
alr bet bet
so the starting solstice armor is fine?
do i reroll the stats first? or just like whenever it doesnt matter what order
Hmmm I’m not exactly sure how solstice rerolling works it may be best to wait for someone else’s input on this 🙂
alright thanks for your help though
👍🏽
wait i do have one more question
so i wanna spread my stats across discipline, ressilience, and mobility how should i do that with stat rerolls?
just have like one piece of armor per stat or what
no lol
usually just have armor that has maybe 2 big spikes for each slot usually
idk
If you want that try get around 20 in each stat or two big spikes as someone said above in your higher priority stats
2 high spikes is definitely a good spot to start
And I suggest putting a discipline armorer mod on your ghost
should i focus less on that in the armor then?
less discipline in my armor bc my ghost will have it
I think I get what you’re saying, pretty much the ghost mod will put priority on a spike on discipline which will give an increased chance to your armour that drops from then on
to have higher discipline spikes. And since it’s on the bottom half of the stat list there’s also a higher chance for stats on the top half (resil and mobility)
anyone can feel free to correct me but thats the gist of how it works
it wont automatically add discipline to your current armour
but itll boost your future drops 🙂
idk if its been mentioned above but the seasonal vendors are also a great and easy source of high stat armour too
this character limit is poo poo so feel free to dm me if you need anything else
so ur ghost things effect your armor drops?
oh dw if thats the case ill be dming u a lot
yep so
having a discipline armorer mod guarantees a minimum of 10 into your discipline
and are more likely to drop with high discipline spikes
np
just added it
I cant link it but copy past that on youtube: "You NEED to know this if you want to make good builds in Destiny 2"
