running RoN with everyone having heavy scout for boss encounters. Every time someone got heavy ammo and called it out, we went to look and found nothing. My question is how does heavy/special ammo scout work properly?

It’s weird and wrong and uhh tldr just use double special
Basically heavy ammo scout makes it so that whenever your ammo finder mod triggers, the heavy ammo appears for everyone
Not when heavy ammo drops, specifically and only when heavy ammo finder procs
It’s best that everyone just runs double special and ignores finder and scout mods
As someone who used to not believe in double special trust me when I say it spawns more heavy ammo than you’ll be able to use in a lot of circumstances
