I can't finish the event quest, kindled the last armor piece on another character now bug

However, I was instead on my other character and did it on that character my mistake instead and now since I have obtained all the kindling there is from the event

I can't finish the quest since kindling is already fully done on all characters.

Is there a way to complete the quest or bypass the kindling part?

I don’t believe there is a workaround, but the quest doesn’t give you any actual rewards anyway. It’s just a tutorial for the event.
