How do I turn silver leaves into silver ash? Got 50 leaves. Nothing happens when I complete a bonfire activity.

Done that twice and haven't gained anymore silver ash. I made sure to swap all my armor to 2023 solstice gear before the boss kill both times.

have you tried loading in with the armor equipped? not switching at the end
you get a warning before loading in while not wearing any of the armor

Idk tbh. It's just detrimental to my builds to use the solstice gear. But swapping gear last second works for everything else.

I always wore it loading into the activity and never had a problem

I'll give it a try. I've seen other issues with this event so far but not this one. Waste of time to have to run this activity 3x for 1 actual completion

yeah I mean it tells you to wear the armor while doing bonfire bash in a few places, I haven't seen anyone else have this problem yet

Wore the armor starting a bonfire. Swapped to a loadout. Swapped back to sun lit armor before boss spawned, and didn't get any ash after the bonfire.

just wear it the whole time, you don't need a build for bonfire bash. there's no need to swap anything
fairly sure this is how it worked last year
actually what's the quest step you're on? I don't think that should affect it but I know my friend didn't get progress for the first bonfire completion for a bit

i mean i’m pretty sure the previous step in the quest was to wear all of the armor i’m pretty sure it’s supposed to work if you load in with that
not sure why you would take it off the event is so easy

Using my already upgraded armor with triple 100s. Why use 40-50 stat armor that I have to upgrade to use? Not to mention having high resil is still nice.

you have to wear the full armor the entire time, just did a run where I swapped at the end and got nothing. so if you want to progress further in solstice you'll need to do that
fallout mentioned he wore the class item the entire time and swapped the full armor set at the end and still got full ash so you can try that at your own risk too
but honestly just wear the full set and you won't forget

high stats dont really matter in content as easy as this
40-50 stat armor provides mroe than enough survivabilit and utility for you to breeze through the event

I believe you can just have 1 piece equipped, class item generally, etc so that makes it a bit easier. I know I still get leaves with just 1 doing other activities so

I'm having a similar issue. Going to try just the class item! Hopefully wearing 5 pieces doesn't significantly impact Ash rates

saw each piece gives you more conversion per leaf. wearing one piece gives 1 ash per leaf, wearing all 5 pieces gives 5 ash per leaf

I ran a regular exotic build using 4/5 solstice armour and then swapped of my exotic right before interacting with the campfire

I ran full and was fine. Didn't need any exotic to run through it easily. 100 ash

I've heard some rumor saying it's a bug that you have to wear 5/5 solstice armour from beginning till the end in order to get the process
