in that case no, witherhoard will not be worth. you could consider LFRs if you can consistently get your crit shots.

honestly it is fine to take more phases to clear him. my first solo a long time ago took 7 phases.

Every dungeon boss/encounter has an unlimited number of attempts at DPS.

You can also farm for ammo for an unlimited amount of time before engaging any death-timer type mechanics (Like Burden of Riches or Nightmare Collapsing)

If you're solar warlock like you stated, go with a rocket launcher and a fusion rifle

#

Picking up 10 engrams gives you super so you can cycle that over and over for safety

if you have acrius with the catalyst it works well, too. you just have to get close up with the ogre

if ur on warlock, procking sunbracers does extra dps too. titan, u could use a bubble or thundercrash with cuirass, and hunter gathering storm w star eater scales

Acasia’s Dejection (RoN) or Retraced Path (Dares) can both get incandescent, both are solid options especially for running double special since you’ll get more heavy Ammo drops when on double special

i dont have the season pass and personally dont like pulse rifles so eh

BxR is probably the best PVE pulse rifle in the game, plus pulses got a decent damage buff recently so if you want incandescent and ability regen, it’s one of the best options out there

If you’re ok with scouts there’s also:
Trustee from Deepstone which can roll Rapid Hit/Pugilist/reconstruction + Incandescent
Also Vision of Confluence from VoG which can get rewind rounds/wellspring + firefly

firefly doesn’t scorch so it doesn’t synergize as well with solar 3.0 but trustee with pugilist/incandescent is definitely a good option to get your snap back for sunbracers warlock

clearing a dungeon solo is still an accomplishment to be proud of regardless I just want you to know that it won’t give you the triumph if you don’t do it all in one go

yea most of the solo dungeon clear triumphs even say “complete this dungeon as the only person in your fireteam and without leaving the activity”

if you could just do the checkpoints one at a time then you could theoretically skip all the transit sections solo by just getting the checkpoint with a friend
