what are some great legendary assault rifles in the game rn? (for higher level content)

Auto Rifles don’t really see much use in endgame PVE these days, but you’ve got: Rufus’s Fury, Sweet Sorrow (can’t acquire easily rn), Ammit AR-2, Age-Old Bond, Gnawing Hunger

SMGs are the biggest go-tos currently if you need a fast-ish firing weapon, or just a trace rifle

machine guns are also really good currently

For exotic auto rifles, Quicksilver Storm is the best and then Centrifuse (new this season) is at the very least fun to use

Perpetualis (strand AR) works in place of Rufus’s Fury but with the best rolls between the two it’s not really comparable

Seventh Seraph Carbine (from Spire of the Watcher) and the Lodbrok-C (world drop) can put in work with target lock esp if you need a champ-stunning auto rifle but meh, there’s tons of ways to deal with champs

plus double special is really potent

volatile/unraveling rounds + a machine gun or just being radiant can deal with barriers in place of ARs this season, as well as suspend or a chill clip fusion rifle

(lastly, wish ender/arbalest are still incredible for anti-barrier if you have the exotic slot for them and barrier champs are the reason you want an AR)
