Star eaters is a complete dps exotic while yas is a neutral based exotic
Depends on the activity but what I’d say is that if it’s an activity that revolves on solemdps like a raid boss
Star eaters, if more neutral game that requires more effort like a nightfall yas

Star eaters can also be helpful in GMs to 1 shot a champ with Goldy but YAS will have way better uptime for dealing with adds
