i cant seem to get the quest from nimbus, i completed the campaign a while ago on my warlock and its just not letting me get the quest, i already checked the quest archive.

You have to complete the exotic Light Machine Gun quest first for nimbus to give you parting the veil quest iirc. That is what i did and it worked.
