explosive light you can only do 6x orbs and enhcanced is 7x shots so for example lets say you have 9 rockets total and each rocket does 1k (just a random number)
the total dmg output with (enhanced) explosive light is 10750
while bait and switch which you have to shoot a rocket to activate the perk lasts 10 secsonds (enhanced) its 11 seconds
so lets say you get off 5 rockets per activation of bait and switch the 1st rocket would be normal dmg and the other 4 is 35% more
so that would end up being a total of 11450
im just gonna recap
so lets say base value of a rocket so its easier is 1000 just for ease of calculation
bait and switch will activate after the 1st rocket so one rocket will do base dmg while the other 4 rockets do 1350
1000+5400=6400
and you by then bait and switch deactivates and you need to reapply so add 1000 for the base rocket and then add 1350 for the last 3
so bait and switch- 6400+5050=11450 total dmg output
explosive light-10750 total dmg output
bait switch better but takes setup
explosive easier but less dps
use what you like, both are acceptable
I see. I figured with having to reapply b&s would have lost a lot of time during most dps phases. I even considered I'd typically have max exp light stacks going into a phase and pick up more stacks along the way.

Bait and Switch for some unknowable spaghetti code reason affects your Wolfpack rounds
Explosive Light doesn’t
And very technically it also boosts impact damage which, like impact casing, leads to a very tiny marginal damage increase of like 3% even discounting wolfpack and the higher intrinsic damage bonus
YES I forgot to mention this as I was only mentioning base rocket dmg forgot to mention that

Even if B&S was only 25% the buff to wolfpacks makes up for not having the buff for 2 of the rockets during damage
