I have all DLC and only playing my hunter. I missed Ikelos SMG and Calus Mini Tool and youtube sucks cause everyone says different things. What guns are best for PVE and PVP rn?

Purely PVE opinion here (with some stuff that might apply to PVP). People here are probably going to say different things just like youtube,
a lot of it depends on what subclass you want to run, what exotic armor, and what activity you're doing. What guns you use in a GM nightfall are not the same as what you use in seasonal content.
So I'd look through those videos and see what guns come up often and try those out to see if you like them. Even then, you might find a gun that fits your playstyle even though no one else talks about it.
I love using Tarrabah with verity's brow on a solar warlock even up to master and grandmaster content because it suits my more aggressive playstyle. It's not a gun most people use though.
Malfeasance + lucky pants on hunter is pretty hot right now since malfeasance just got its catalyst.
I guess if I had to give you one loadout that you could take into just about every piece of content it would be Witherhoard or Arbalest or a riptide/stasis fusion rifle with chill clip,
an elemental smg or trace rifle or maybe a scout of you know there will be a lot of long distance fights, and a rocket launcher like gjally or hothead or apex predator or cold comfort.

DSC can drop Heritage, Succession, and Commemoration, all of which are very good for PvE, especially Commemoration with enhanced killing tally and reconstruction. Riptide with Chill Clip is very good as well.
Apex Predator or Cold Comfort are arguably the best legendary rockets right now, and since we are in a rocket DPS meta, they will be your go-to for boss DPS.
