Sleeper Simulant (with catty), Leviathan’s Breath (with catty), Xenophage, Winterbite (multiple users can chunk bosses in funny ways)

Grand Overture (good burst DPS), Whisper of the Worm (long DPS phases with easy crits), Thunderlord with catty (controversial), The Lament (goated for close range DPS)

Two-Tailed Fox with the catalyst is also ok but if your fireteam is running rockets it’s often better to run a legendary rocket to get Wolfpack rounds from your Gjally user

After the jolt nerf ttf is useless, and if your team had a source of jolt ttf was already useless

and what are some good legendary heavys? I have a fully crafted taipan, and a cold comfort with tracking module chill clip, but what else is good?

Honestly all you need is a good rocket, linear, maybe machine gun

so i guess ill just give u replacements like Cataclysmic rather than Taipan

and a rocket launcher with Explosive Light or Bait and Switch

as for machine guns, Commemoration/Corrective Measure and Fixed Odds will do

Absolutely

the only other possible thing you could improve on is rather than Tracking Module you can get something like Field Prep or Envious Assassin or Reconstruction on similar rockets but honestly ur chillin with what u got

NOT gally for solo; gjally isnt as potent as a good legendary rocket when alone iirc

levi and sleeper sim fill the same niche as an lfr so pick ur poison 👍

thunderlord is laughable dps outside of root of nightmares

rockets for things you can't easily hit crits on but have fat hitboxes
linears/levibreath for things you can easily hit crits on (and cant rocket easily)

if there's a certain boss in mind i can provide some suggestions but thats how i would go about most bosses lole

Lament and Acrius get used for super close range stuff like the boss knight in the new dungeon

It’s good for squishy big bosses

It’s a clean 1-phase on taniks (which everything is but since most people have it it’s perfect for sherpa runs)

And it can actually do riven cheese with the right support, which I used during my all arc and all void runs of LW

aside from that it’s just sort of bad, although it’s one of the highest dps exotics that isn’t from the kiosk or some similarly rare source
