Is the lightfall DLC worth it if I'm a new player or should I play the legacy DLC then decide later? P.S. I'm a brand new player as of this weekend and saw the DLC's are on sale

honestly kinda depends on what you wanna do first
I'd say that lightfall and witch queen both offer quite a lot of loot for new players.
Witch queen has a stronger campaign narrative, whereas lightfall is newer so you'll be more up to date on the story
also furthermore, lightfall deluxe might be a better pick up if you do prioritise being up to date
given that deluxe gives you access to the newest seasonal content for this year, which will be removed when the next dlc drops

the annual pass means that you're gonna be paying for 4 seasons + 2 dungeons on top of the dlc
at a bit of a discount
but then only 2 seasons and 1 dungeon for the year have been released so far, so also think if you're gonna play

and loot for new players do you just mean upgrades to gear level or what? I just started shadowkeep yesterday and I don't really know what gear to keep other than it has a higher level

good rolls is more important imo, given that you can increase an item's power level by infusing a higher power item into it
